Given the complexity of the catalogs, Elica did not have a flexible tool for communicating its products.
The production of the catalogs was customized for the many markets in which the company operated and for the different customers; this results in a diversity of ranges, codes, contents and languages.

The production of the catalogs was very complex and also subordinated to the demands of the market.
This implied an adaptation to the specific needs of the customers, speed of realization and constant alignment of the contents.
There was also the need to have the information in an organized database that could also be consulted by non-experts.

With EKR-PE the most complete cross-media solution
After a careful analysis of the data to be published and of the internal information flow, EKR-PE was configured to act as a collector / container of information coming from various sources (laboratory, technical office, marketing office).
The data is organized within two Excel tables that are reprocessed and imported into EKR-PE.
The columns of the tables are automatically hidden according to the reference market and the information is filtered and recombined.
The EKR-PE system was set up in Elica as a priority to cope with the production of printed product catalogs for distribution.
A possible development could be to integrate product web pages and manuals.
